This 66-Day Challenge is designed so YOU can create a new long-term or permanent habit.
Create ONE goal
a NO-EXCUSES, NO-FAIL goal!
Gary Keller, who wrote the life-changing book, The One Thing, assures readers that it takes 66 days (not 30 days) to own and internalize a habit for good.
Therefore, pick ONE THING from the List of 66 Items or create your own personal goal that isn’t on the list.
Create your goal starting with “I am” and is stated in the present tense.
If you’re not sure about your goal or whether it fits well in this Challenge, just email me at Info@AgingGracefully.TV for a personal reply.

Aging Gracefully,
I will only eat between the hours of 8.00am and 8.00pm for 66 days.
Kathryn – my main aim hear is to stop evening eating. I didn’t want to write it as a negative – I will not eat after 8.00pm at night – but perhaps that would be ok? I don’t really mind what time I eat in the morning. What do you think?
I will walk at minimum 1 mile 5 days per week.
That’s an excellent goal!
I will go to the gym 4× a week in 2020 and continue to follow a plant based lifestyle
Sounds great!
I will write down and reflect upon at least 3 things I am grateful for each day!
Love this! You can do this every day so easily! You will feel like a winner for sure!
Reading inspirational book every morning for 15 minutes
I will log the Fitbit number for 66 days.
That’s EXCELLENT!
I am going to log my blood pressure 3 times a week. Have problems with it being too low and dropping at very inconvenient times.
Good for you, Patricia. Keep an eye on it!
I will go to the gym 2 Days a week
I am giving up potato chips for the next 66 dyas.
This is a GREAT example of something do-able! Start marking your calendar tomorrow!
I am tracking what I eat daily for 66 days.
EXCELLENT choice!
One hour water aerobics 4 days a week!!
Love it!
I will lose 20 pounds
Let me know how you might break that down into small chunks. Love the goal, but it’s a BIG one!
I challenge myself to walking 6 miles a week.
That would be great! How many times per week will you walk and how will you track it?
I am doing my brief exercise routine 6 days per week, which includes 100 reps of the Callenetics abdominal exercise. I haven’t been doing this routine in full for a couple of years. I just sporadically do some of the exercises and only on rare occasions do I complete all the reps. I expect I will feel and look better if I commit to this routine 🙂
I love that you say “brief exercise routine.” That makes it doable even on a day that you don’t feel well.
My goal is to take 5 mins a day for myself and meditate, Also I will give someone a compliment each day.
Let’s pick just ONE, Cheri. Since I know you pretty well, you probably could do BOTH but let’s focus on one at a time. My favorite of the two is the compliment. VERY doable. Meditation is GREAT but can be really hard to stick with DAILY when you get started!
I am spending quality time with my husband daily doing Bible study and marriage tips
I like this! Does he commit to it, also? How much minimum time will you commit to? I suggest 5 minutes. That’s doable under any condition. Of course, you can do more but you might want to make your “commitment” small and achievable under any conditions!
Thanks for the advise my husband is on board too he likes the idea of no matter what getting together for 5minutes And go from there.
I am writing in my journal daily for 66 days.
Oh, so doable! This is a daily habit for me. I have rarely missed a day for years!
