When you dehydrate tomatoes, you’re able to eat your healthy harvest all year long without worrying about electricity OR taking up much space in the freezer or cupboards!
Dehydrate Tomatoes and Eat Healthy Food All Year
The process is pretty simple:
1.) Grow tomatoes!
2.) Pick tomatoes!
3.) Slice up tomatoes and place on dehydrator!
4.) Store them away for another time.
There are other ways to dry tomatoes, including oven drying, but in this video, you’ll see how Kathryn uses electric dehydrators to preserve her nutritious abundance!

Great idea, when I was in Hi. I did a whole watermelon all 6 trays only filled a sandwich bag. It’s fun to experiment with the de-hydrator but mostly I use it to make jerky. It’s fun to experiment with marinades.
I never would have thought of dehydrating watermelon!! I’m dehydrating blueberries right now!
What great ideas!
Thank you, Jennie! Let me know if you try!
