Imagine tap dance for special populations!
Melissa Renner makes tap dance for special populations possible because of her innovative tap shoe covers. These stretch boots with taps will fit over any shoe or slipper, making it possible for all ages and abilities to have fun tapping! Whether seated or standing, everyone can tap dance by slipping a stretch boot with taps over their shoes.
As the Founder of Active For Life Fitness, Melissa brings physical fitness opportunities for populations that might otherwise be neglected. She wants everyone to try new things and be active for life!
As a dance instructor, Melissa cares deeply about her students and dance community. She had a strong desire for everyone to be able to experience the joy of tap dancing. As she fixed her mind on that desire, she came up with the idea of creating tap shoe covers.
Everyone CAN try new things and everyone CAN be creative.

Your and Melissa’s careful explanation invites one to think they could try this, despite balance concerns. Fun!

Please do try it! It is another way to enjoy movement and dance. And to think, it all started from Melissa’s creative idea to share her joy of dance with everyone that became this reality!
Kathryn, I think I would enjoy making my left leg and foot work at tapping.
Just watching and enjoying the sound of the taps is so enjoyable!
