Teepa Snow is a FAVORITE presenter of mine and you’ll love her, too! This woman abounds with energy, sometimes making an audience laugh and cry – both at the same time. Give Teepa 15 minutes, and she’ll show you quick and do-able techniques you can use right NOW to help dementia patients, their stressed-out families, and caregivers.
No one but Teepa knows how to present highly emotional subject matter in a respectful, yet lighthearted and funny manner which ultimately makes it all easier to remember!
I’ve learned much from Teepa about brain health and my presentations on Aging Gracefully with a Healthy Brain are inspired by her and rooted in the information I gained from my recent interview with her.
Get to know Teepa if you love someone with dementia. She offers a tremendous amount of information on her website and even gives free webinars. Find her on Facebook for Live sessions, too.
Do I sound like a commercial for Teepa Snow? I promise that I’m NOT being paid to promote her in any way, but I AM a believer in her good works, and I encourage everyone to watch this video!

This was so perfect!! I have debilitating disease and am alone quite a bit. This information was perfect timing!!!
Kathryn,
Loved this episode with Teepa! I sure wish my family had these nuggets of information that Teepa shared with you when my Dad had dementia and my Mom was trying so hard to be the caregiver. I am thankful that you and Teepa were able to share this! Thank You!!
Dave
What a remarkable interview. I was surprised with how many things that I could personally relate to. Does this mean I must be getting old? Lol. One thing in particular was about the hearing and using hearing aids. I find it that people with hearing aids seem to speak louder because maybe they think the person they are talking to can’t hear them due to their own hearing loss. Hearing aids are just that, aids and yes they are sometimes a pain to put in, change batteries, cleaning and replacing the domes on the aids. Have to weigh the pros and cons. Big fingers and little aids.
This by far has been the best segment and I will definitely review it again and again.
Gary, SO glad you enjoyed Teepa! You can sign up for her newsletter on her website, also. It’s always filled with great info.
Loved Teepa’s Talk. It felt very personal. At 83 I basically try to follow the daily routines she offers, but there’s always a need for improvement. I’m going to try a little harder beginning today. For four years I shared the fading effects of the loss of my dear sister-in-law from Alzheimer’s with my brother. She and I had walked and talked for so many years together and sometimes about never wanting to experience this ending. It was an honor to share those last years with her.
Your interview skills are wonderful, Kathryn.
Wow, Joan, thank you so much for your comment. That must have been terribly difficult for your family. Nobody wants to end that way, for sure, but all we can do is make our best effort right NOW.
And thank you for the kind compliment, as well. Teepa was easy to interview. I could talk with her all day!
wow! what an inspiration Teepa is. I really enjoyed learning from her and am so excited, I have 2 pages of notes to reflect on. Thank you so much.
Cheri, so glad you enjoyed this episode! Teepa is inspiring and informative!
