The panel stresses the importance of exercising and eating well. Working out is worth it even though it requires more effort for lesser results!
Challenge Yourself as You Age!
Jen is training for a fitness show. Kathryn and Lynn are adding in extra gym time this month. And the two sisters, Elena and Mary Elda, are hard for anyone to keep up with!
Elena, 81, just retired from her career as a flight attendant last year! At 90, Mary Elda says she’s told she’s “too active.” She says, “Sometimes people are just overly helpful.”
Worst Fears While Aging
Body changes are the admitted disappointments with decades of aging. Diminishing waistlines, weight shifts, hairs growing in new places, and balance challenges are mentioned.
Still, the worst fears imaginable for Aging Gracefully by the Decade:
- Dementia
- Losing mobility
- Being cared for by someone
- Being a burden
Remember that life is good at any age. Socialize with people who keep positive attitudes, also!

I can very much relate to all the issues, going on 67 I don’t feel it body wise though. I’m a active gymnast, still obtaining a competitive level. Not sure on how long all of this will last.
Wow, still active as a gymnast! That incorporate flexibility and strength! Awesome!
It is hard to keep a positive attitude but it is imperative. Try not to quit any of your workouts, walking, etc because it is very hard to go back.
Isn’t that the truth!!! Never quit! But if you do, RECOMMIT!
