Why do we want YOU to learn how to tag a friend on Facebook?
Aging Gracefully TV has a 30-Day Happiness Challenge on Facebook for the month of April and it’s FUN! Many people have joined in and are playing along. Check out the daily challenges by clicking through to the Aging Gracefully TV Facebook page here.
New Facebook Users
Since many people have just recently joined Facebook for the first time, they have valid questions on how to this social media and we’re happy to answer the questions!
Facebook can be interactive and sometimes even a silly social time, but what is the best way to learn? Typically, just get started even when not feeling confident. “Stalk” others and look around for a while to get a better understanding of how things work. Be sure to ask questions to someone who is confident using social media.
Tag Someone?
On day 7 of the Happiness Challenge, we asked followers and friends to “Tag someone in healthcare and say thank you!” That’s when a number of people asked, “How do I tag someone?” Then, they also asked me, “How do I get notifications if someone tags me?”
When a friend is tagged on Facebook, they’re notified and this allows them to look at how or where their name was tagged or mentioned. If this sounds confusing, don’t worry.
Monica and I made a quick video for anyone who wants to learn about tagging friends on Facebook. It will definitely make your Facebook experience more fun AND our Aging Gracefully TV challenges will become more interactive!
